About Ringo Starfish

Ringo Starfish drops a starfish adventurer onto a mysterious island where treasure is supposedly buried, and turns the search into a side-scrolling platformer built around three abilities instead of the usual jump-and-run alone. You explore hand-built pixel-art levels, dodge enemies and traps, and work toward the crystals scattered through each stage rather than just a finish line.

What sets a level apart is switching between Ringo's toolkit as the terrain demands it: firepower to clear enemies blocking a path, a swimming skill for the underwater stretches, and a temporary invincibility power to push through a hazard you'd otherwise have to route around. Checkpoints are placed through every level, so a bad landing costs you the current stretch, not the whole run.

Ringo Starfish FAQ

What are the controls for Ringo Starfish?
Move with the arrow keys or A/D, jump with W or the Up arrow, and fire with X or J. On mobile, touch controls are used instead.
What can Ringo do besides jump?
Ringo can fire at enemies, swim through underwater sections, and briefly turn invincible to push through hazards — switching between these is central to clearing each level.
What happens if I die mid-level?
Every level has checkpoints, so you restart from the last one you reached instead of the beginning of the level.
Does Ringo Starfish work on mobile?
Yes, it runs in a mobile browser with touch controls in place of the keyboard.
