Raft Wars Game

Raft Wars drops you into a bizarre, physics-based shootout where two kids armed with tennis balls must defend their newly discovered buried treasure. You control Simon and his baby brother as they face off against greedy neighbors, pirates, and even armed helicopters. Every encounter is a turn-based artillery battle: you take a shot, watch the projectile arc across the screen, and then brace yourself as the enemies return fire.

Success relies entirely on getting a feel for the game's chunky physics. Since you don't get an aiming line to guide your shots, you have to estimate the right trajectory and power by eye. Nailing a direct hit that knocks an enemy directly into the water is incredibly satisfying. As you clear levels, the money you earn from successful hits can be spent on much-needed upgrades, replacing your standard tennis balls with devastating grenades or rockets to help even the odds against increasingly tough opponents.

Controls

• Mouse: Click and drag anywhere on the screen to set the angle and power of your shot, then release to fire.

Tips

• Pay close attention to where your last shot landed; use it as a visual reference to slightly adjust your angle or power for the next turn.
• If an enemy is positioned precariously near the edge of their platform, aim for their feet or the raft itself to knock them into the water for an instant knockout.
• Don't forget to upgrade your raft's health between levels, as later enemies hit incredibly hard.
