Monster Merge Game

What you actually get when you press play here is Merge Run, a 2023 running-and-merging arcade game from Mirra Games. Your monster squad sprints down a lane on its own, and your only job is dragging left and right to steer them through a string of gates.

Each gate carries a number or symbol, and running through the right one grows and merges your monsters into stronger creatures, while the wrong one shrinks your squad. The lane keeps throwing new gates and obstacles at you right up to a boss monster at the end, where the size and strength of the army you built along the way decides the fight.

Tips

• Only take a gate if you're sure it merges monsters upward — a bad gate thins your squad right before a fight.
• Keep your squad as wide as possible heading into the boss; numbers matter as much as monster level.
• React early. The lane moves fast, and gates are easier to read a beat before you reach them than right on top of them.

It's a quick, low-commitment session for anyone who likes merge mechanics but wants the pace of an endless runner instead of a slow idle grind.
