Magic Solitaire is a card game from CoolGames built around one exact rule: a card can only leave the board once it sits at a rank exactly one above or one below your current card. There's no color or suit matching to worry about, so every glance at the tableau is a search for the two numeric neighbors that let you clear something.
The goal is to strip the whole spread off the board. Run out of legal moves and you can pull a fresh card from the draw pile to keep going, but leaning on it costs you: finish a round with the draw pile still untouched and you earn the highest score, so the real skill is reading the layout far enough ahead to clear cards without ever needing a redraw.
Controls
Everything is click or tap. Select a legal card on the tableau to remove it, and tap the draw pile only when you're stuck. It plays the same way on desktop, phone and tablet.
Tips
- Look for chains before you commit — clearing one card often exposes another that's one rank away, letting you clear several in a row without touching the draw pile.
- Treat the draw pile as a last resort, not a habit. Since ending a round with it full pays the biggest score bonus, only tap it when there's truly no legal move left on the board.
It's a short, quiet card game suited to a five-minute break rather than a long session.
