About Level Devil 2

Level Devil 2 is the follow-up to Unept's viral troll platformer, and it keeps the same rule: nothing on screen can be trusted. Levels look like ordinary platform stages until you get close, and then the floor gives way, a wall slides in, or a "safe" ledge turns out to be a trap. There's no health bar and no combat — just a door to reach and a level that's actively working against you.

The trick is that memorization matters more than reflexes. Your first attempt at any stage is really reconnaissance: you're going to die, probably more than once, and the point is to notice what killed you so the next run gets further. Runs are short and restarts are instant, so a session is really a string of quick tries rather than one long attempt.

Controls

  • Arrow keys or A/D: move left and right
  • Space or W: jump
  • R: restart the level

Tips

  • Treat every new stretch of floor as suspicious until you've crossed it once and survived.
  • Move in small steps near ledges and gaps — a lot of traps only trigger when you commit to a jump.
  • Don't rush back in after a death. Take a second to think about exactly where the trap was before you retry.

It's a good fit for short sessions where you want quick, replayable challenge rather than a long story or progression system — the kind of game you can dip into for five minutes or fifty.

Level Devil 2 FAQ

What are the controls for Level Devil 2?
Move with the arrow keys or A/D, jump with Space or W, and press R to restart the level instantly.
Do I need to memorize the levels?
Yes. Most traps are impossible to predict on your first pass, so expect to die once or twice per level and use each attempt to learn where the danger is.
Is there a health bar or combat?
No. There's no fighting and no health system — a single wrong step ends the attempt and drops you back to the start of the level.
Who made Level Devil 2?
It's developed by Unept, the studio behind the original viral Level Devil.
