Kate's Cooking Party is a restaurant simulation game about keeping a dining room running without letting anyone go hungry or angry. Groups of customers arrive and wait in line, and it's your job to drag them to an open table, take their order when they call for it, and get their food out before their patience runs out.
Happy tables leave better tips, and that money goes toward unlocking new dishes, kitchen stations and coworkers, so the restaurant grows busier and more complex the longer you play instead of staying static. There's also a competitive side to it — earnings can be compared against friends, which gives the tip-chasing an extra reason to keep going.
Controls
Everything is done with the mouse or a tap on mobile: drag waiting customers onto a free table to seat them, then tap the order and dish icons that appear above a table to take orders and serve food.
It plays in the browser on desktop, phone or tablet with nothing to install, and suits short sessions where you want some light time-management pressure without a steep learning curve.
