Jumpossess is a platform puzzle game built around one twist: you can jump into characters' bodies. You start as a small, cute square that's immune to the black spikes littering each level, but plenty of obstacles need abilities it doesn't have, like jumping higher or pushing a box out of the way.
The solution is possession — borrow another character's skill for as long as you need it, then swap back or move on to the next body when a new obstacle calls for a different ability. Each level is really a short chain of "who do I need to be right now" puzzles, and figuring out the right order to swap bodies is most of the challenge.
Controls
- Move: A / D or the left and right arrow keys
- Jump: W or the up arrow key
- Down: D or the down arrow key
- Reset level: R
- Back: Esc
Tips
- Don't possess a body out of habit — check what the very next obstacle actually needs before you swap.
- If you get stuck on a jump, look around for a body with a higher jump nearby rather than trying to force it with your starting character.
It suits players who like short, thinky platformer levels they can solve in a few minutes rather than a long action-platforming session.
