Jump And Hover is a puzzle-platformer built around a single resource: how long you can stay off the ground. Your character can hover in mid-air, but only for a few seconds before the energy runs out, so every jump becomes a small calculation of distance, timing and where you'll land if the hover cuts out early.
The energy bar only refills two ways: standing on solid ground for a moment, or flying through a battery pickup placed somewhere in the level. Levels are built around that rule, forcing you to plan a route through batteries and safe landing spots rather than just aiming for the exit.
Controls
- A/D or Arrow Keys: Move left and right.
- W, Up Arrow or Space (hold): Jump and hover in mid-air.
- R: Restart the level.
Tips
- Land briefly whenever you can, even for a fraction of a second — a partial recharge is often enough to make the next gap.
- Route toward batteries before you need them. Running dry mid-air with no ground in reach ends the attempt.
- Hold the hover key in short bursts rather than draining it in one long float; you get more precise control over where you come down.
It's a keyboard game through and through — 24 levels that start simple and gradually stack spikes, moving platforms and tighter battery placement, so it suits anyone who likes short, replayable precision challenges rather than a long story-driven game.
