James Gun casts you as a sharp-suited secret agent free-falling down the side of a tower, sunglasses on and pistol drawn. It plays out as one long, escalating drop: ledge after ledge rushes past, and the only way through is to keep grabbing on and letting go at the right moment.
The trick is timing, not speed. Gripping a ledge slows your fall so you can size up what's below, but every drop below you is a chance to land safely on a moving vehicle instead of the pavement. Hang on too long and you'll miss your landing window; let go too early and you'll fall past it entirely.
Controls
Hold the spacebar, hold the mouse button, or press and hold on a touchscreen to grip a ledge. Release to let go and fall.
Tips
- Look at what's coming before you let go — you need to line up with a vehicle, not just fall in its general direction.
- Holding a ledge buys you time to plan, but it doesn't pause the fall itself, so don't cling on past your landing window.
- The same hold-and-release input works with a mouse, a touchscreen, or the spacebar, so it's easy to play one-handed.
