It's Story Time! drops you into a set of colorful hidden-object scenes, each one presenting a short list of tasks to work through by poking around the room. A drawer needs opening, a jar needs a lid twisted off, two items need combining before either one is useful — the fun is in noticing what the scene is quietly asking you to do next.
There's no timer pushing you along, so it plays best as a slow, observant session: scan the scene, tick off a task, watch what new objects or interactions that unlocks, and keep going until the little story wraps up. Stuck on something? A built-in hint points you toward the next step so a single hidden object never brings the whole thing to a halt.
Controls
Click or tap an object to pick it up or interact with it. For movable items, hold down the mouse button (or your finger on mobile) and drag to move or combine them. That's the entire control scheme — everything else is just looking closely.
Tips
- Re-scan the whole scene after finishing a task — completing one step often reveals or unlocks the next object you need.
- Try dragging one item onto another before assuming it's just for storage; a lot of the puzzles hinge on combining two ordinary objects.
- Use the hint button as soon as you're stuck rather than clicking around at random — it saves time without spoiling the rest of the scene.
It suits anyone who likes a low-pressure, click-around puzzle to unwind with, alone or with family looking over your shoulder.
