Idle Tree City is a click-and-wait management sim: you grow a lumber town from a single sapling into a bustling wooden city, one tap at a time. Plant seeds on empty tiles, watch them sprout into full trees, then send tiny tree-shaped workers out to chop, carry, and build with the wood they bring back.
There's no combat and no fail state, just a steady loop of planting, harvesting, and upgrading. Cash rolls in automatically as your workers do their rounds, and you spend it on faster growth, more workers, and new buildings that expand the town outward branch by branch. It's the kind of game you can check in on for a minute or leave running in a tab while it grows on its own.
Controls
Everything is mouse-driven. Left-click (or tap on touchscreens) an empty tile to plant a tree, and click on a grown tree, building, or worker to interact with it or collect what it's produced.
Tips
- Keep planting on every open tile rather than waiting — idle income scales with how much of the map is actually working for you.
- Prioritize upgrades that speed up tree growth early, since that compounds into every resource.
- Check back periodically to reinvest cash into new workers rather than letting it pile up unused.
It suits players who like a low-pressure idle game to tick over in the background rather than one that demands constant attention.
