Controls

Idle Mining Empire features simple point-and-click or tap controls that work on both desktop and mobile devices:

• Mouse Click / Tap: Click or tap on workers to manually trigger their actions before automation is unlocked. Click menu buttons to purchase upgrades.
• Upgrade Buttons: Click the green level-up buttons on shafts, elevators, and warehouses to expand their capacity. Toggle the upgrade multiplier (x1, x10, x50, or Max) to purchase multiple levels at once.

Tips & Strategy

• Balance the Pipeline: Ensure that your elevator capacity and warehouse transport rate match the output of your mineshafts. A massive shaft is useless if the elevator cannot carry the ore, or if the cashier cannot sell it fast enough.
• Automate Early: Hire managers for your shafts and transport links as soon as they become affordable. Automation keeps your mining operation running continuously and eliminates manual tapping.
• Prioritize Deep Shafts: Deeper mineshafts yield far more valuable minerals than the initial surface layers. When you have enough capital, unlock new shafts rather than over-upgrading older ones.
• Utilize Manager Boosts: Tap on the managers to activate temporary speed or cost-reduction boosts. These are highly effective when making expensive tier upgrades.
