About Hyper Maria Rush

Hyper Maria Rush is a dash-and-avoid football game from NSBrotherhood. Instead of a full pitch to run around, you're locked into a set of lanes, sprinting the ball forward while switching lanes to dodge defenders coming the way. Get far enough without getting caught and the run ends in a penalty shootout.

There are four modes to work through: Tournament strings runs and shootouts together into a full campaign, Penalty Battle and Penalty Practice isolate the shootout on its own, and Running is the dash-and-dodge segment by itself for a shorter score attack. Power-ups picked up mid-run help with the dodging — a Super Pass rushes you straight through a defender, a Power Kick blasts one out of the way, and a Shield absorbs a hit you'd otherwise lose the ball to.

Controls

Tap a lane to switch your runner into it and avoid contact with incoming enemies. During a penalty kick, tap to set the angle of your shot, then tap again to set its height; when you're the keeper instead, tap in time with the incoming shot to save it.

Tips

  • Save power-ups for a lane you're already boxed into rather than using them on sight — a Shield or Power Kick is wasted if you had a free lane to dodge into anyway.
  • In the shootout, vary your shot angle and height between attempts — the keeper's saves get sharper as you progress, so a repeated placement gets read and stopped.
  • Running mode is the quickest way to warm up your lane-switching timing before jumping into a full Tournament run.
