About House of Hazards

House of Hazards is a chaotic local multiplayer party game where everyday household chores turn into a hilariously dangerous obstacle course. You and up to three friends take turns racing to complete simple tasks—like making coffee, fetching the mail, or watering plants—while the players actively trigger traps around the house to stop you in your tracks.

Each round, one player attempts their objective while the others control hazards ranging from falling lamps and swinging cabinet doors to rogue toasters and flying toast. Surviving requires quick reflexes and unpredictable movement, and the roles swap constantly until someone successfully finishes enough tasks to win the match.

Controls

  • Player 1: A / D to move, W to jump, S to crouch and interact with objects
  • Player 2: Left / Right Arrows to move, Up Arrow to jump, Down Arrow to crouch and interact

Tips for Surviving the House

  • Bait the Traps: Players controlling hazards often fire early. Move forward to bait a trap, quickly retreat, and then sprint through while it resets.
  • Use the Crouch Slide: Crouching while moving gives you a slight slide that can squeeze you under swinging hazards much faster than trying to time a jump.
  • Watch for Tells: Most interactive hazards have a slight visual cue or wiggle before they trigger, giving you a split second to stop or jump.
