Hop Warp is a small, single-screen puzzle game built around one trick: you can throw an orb and instantly swap places with it. That's your only way to reach ledges and gaps you can't jump to, and each level only gives you a limited number of throws — so every teleport has to be planned, not reacted with.
The goal in each room is to collect every star before you can finish the level. Working out the order to grab them in, given a strict throw budget and a layout full of dead ends, is the actual puzzle — it's a thinking game more than a reflex one, closer to a portal-based logic puzzle than a traditional platformer.
Controls
- A/D or Left/Right arrow keys — move
- Spacebar — throw your orb and swap places with it
- R — reset the level
- Esc — back out to the menu
Tips
- Red zones block teleporting — plan your route around them rather than trying to throw through one.
- Look at the whole room before you throw anything; wasting a swap on the wrong star often strands you.
- Stuck on a layout? There's a built-in hint that shows a working star order, so you don't have to reset blind.
It runs in the browser with nothing to install, and suits players who like short, puzzle-y levels they can solve in a couple of minutes rather than a long action platformer.
