About Hop Chop

Hop Chop is an endless side-scrolling platformer starring a sword-carrying pig who never stops running. You're not steering left and right so much as timing every leap and swing as the ground scrolls past faster and faster, chaining hops over gaps and slashes through anything in your path.

The hook is the slow-motion window: hold down mid-air and time slows to a crawl, giving you a beat to line up a precise landing or a clean hit before you let go and snap back to full speed. Runs are short and score-driven, so most sessions are "one more go" rather than a long sit-down.

Controls

  • Click or press Space to jump
  • Click or press Space again in mid-air to slash
  • Hold either input in the air to slow down time, release to drop back to full speed

Tips

  • Use the slow-motion hold whenever a gap or obstacle looks tight — it's there so you can react, not just for style
  • Slash on the way down to combine an attack with your landing instead of spending two separate inputs
  • Runs get faster the longer you survive, so bank easy points early and save your focus for the later stretch
