Heli Jump Halloween is a Halloween-dressed spin on the rotating-tower drop game: a small bouncing character falls down a tall, spinning pillar wrapped in jack-o'-lantern and cobweb platforms, and your only task is to steer it through the gaps while avoiding the hazard-colored sections. There's no jump button to press — the bounce is automatic, so the whole game comes down to timing your turns.
Each run is a single unbroken descent: rotate the tower, line up the next opening, and keep falling. Touch a hazard zone instead of a gap and the run ends, so the pace naturally speeds up as you get better at reading the layout a beat ahead of the bounce.
Controls
On a computer, click and drag left or right to spin the tower. On a touchscreen, swipe left or right to do the same. There's nothing else to press — the character bounces on its own.
Tips
- Turn in smooth, deliberate motions rather than short jerky flicks — the tower has a bit of momentum, and oversteering makes it harder to line up the next gap.
- Look one platform ahead instead of reacting only to the one you're about to land on, since you'll usually need to already be turning before you land.
- If you're not sure which way to go, it's often safer to rotate toward the wider opening rather than trying to thread a narrow one.
It suits short, quick sessions — a couple of minutes to fall as far as you can before a hazard catches you.
