Halloween Lonely Road Racing Game

Halloween Lonely Road Racing is a 3D racing game from VitalityGames, played entirely in the browser. You take a hot rod out onto a set of night-time Halloween-themed courses and race against AI opponents down winding, jump-filled roads lit by little more than your headlights and a few carved pumpkins.

Each of the game's 10 levels is a straight race: cross the line in first place and the next level unlocks. Prize money from your wins carries over to a car shop, so a strong run early on buys you a faster ride for the tracks that follow.

Tips

• You have to finish first, not just place, to open the next level — hang back to avoid a crash rather than risk a wreck for a lead you don't need yet.
• Save nitro for the long straight stretches between jumps; using it into a ramp or turn is a good way to lose control.
• Put your winnings toward a new car as soon as you can afford one — later levels get noticeably harder to win in the starting hot rod.

It's a quick pick-up-and-play racer, well suited to a few short races at a time rather than one long session.
