About Goblock

Goblock is a quiet grid puzzle from WeDoYouPlay: colorful blocks appear above a playing field, and your only job is to fit them together so full rows disappear. There's no timer screaming at you and no combo meter to chase — just one piece at a time, one decision at a time.

The tension comes from the shapes themselves. Some pieces slot in cleanly, others force you to leave an awkward gap you'll have to fix two moves later. Rows only clear when they're completely full, so the game rewards patience over speed — a session can be five minutes of casual tidying or twenty minutes of careful stacking, depending on how messy you let the board get.

Controls

Mouse only: click and hold on a block to pick it up, drag it over the grid, and release to drop it into place.

Tips

  • Plan two pieces ahead when you can see them coming — a block that fits nowhere well right now might complete a row perfectly next turn.
  • Keep one or two columns intentionally open rather than filling the board edge to edge; it gives you somewhere to put an awkward piece without stacking dangerously high.
  • Clearing multiple rows at once is worth working toward, but don't hold out for it so long that the board fills up on you.

It's a good fit for a short break — easy to pick up, easy to put down, no story or unlockables to keep track of.
