Glitch Dash puts you behind the eyes of a runner sprinting down glowing geometric corridors, and it doesn't slow down to let you think. Swinging hammers, bouncing blocks, spikes, lasers and moving walls come at you in quick succession, and touching almost any of them ends the run instantly. Diamonds are scattered along the path — grabbing them isn't just for score, they're the currency you spend on checkpoints and saves, so a run is as much about deciding which diamonds are worth the risk as it is about reflexes.
It was built in two days for the WOWIE Game Jam by developers Andrzej Gieralt and Stephen Bahadur, and that jam-game DNA shows: short, brutally difficult stretches you'll replay dozens of times rather than a long, forgiving campaign. Expect to die a lot in the first few minutes — the game is built around fast failure and faster retries, not gradual difficulty.
Controls
- Arrow keys to steer left and right
- Spacebar to jump
Tips
- Don't chase every diamond — a checkpoint you can't afford is worse than a stretch you play without one.
- Expect to die often early on; each hazard type has a specific timing, and dying is how you learn it.
- If a stretch keeps killing you, prioritize surviving it over collecting on that attempt, then go back for diamonds once you know the pattern.
It's a good fit if you want a short, punishing session rather than a long one — a few minutes of intense focus, not something to leave running in the background.
