Tips

• Keep the stack low: Aim to keep your board as level and low as possible. Higher stacks reduce your reaction time and make it harder to place awkwardly shaped pieces.
• Leave a column for a Tetris: Build your stack while leaving a single vertical column open (usually on the far right). Wait for the straight four-block piece to arrive to clear four lines at once for a massive score bonus.
• Watch the next piece: Keep an eye on the preview box showing the upcoming block. Knowing what piece is next allows you to plan your placement before the current block even lands.
• Slide blocks at the last second: Even after a block touches the stack, you have a fraction of a second to slide it left or right. Use this brief window to tuck pieces into tight spots.
