Fixing Time is a platformer built around a simple, nasty twist: every clock you pick up spawns a ghost that replays your last few seconds of movement. Play as Professor Tim, a scientist whose tinkering broke the timeline, and your job is to gather every broken clock scattered around the lab and put time back together.
The catch is that each clock you grab starts a shadow of your own recent path retracing your steps behind you. Collect a few clocks in a row and the room fills up with clones of yourself, all moving exactly as you did moments earlier. Touch one and it's a paradox — game over. The tension builds naturally: the more clocks you clear, the more crowded and dangerous your own history gets.
Controls
- Player 1: Arrow keys to move, Spacebar to jump
- Player 2 (co-op): WASD to move and jump
Tips
- Plan routes that loop away from where you've already been — a straight line back through old territory is how you run into your own ghost.
- Grab clocks in a deliberate order rather than the nearest one first; a messy path early creates more clones to dodge later.
- In two-player mode, split the room between you so you're not both generating clones in the same space.
It suits short, focused sessions — a few rooms at a time — and is more fun with a second player sharing the couch or keyboard.
