Fat Slice transforms geometry into a game of risk and precision. The screen presents a floating shape filled with bouncing balls, and your objective is to shave off enough area to reach a specific percentage goal. Every level is a balancing act between making aggressive, sweeping cuts and playing it safe with tiny nibbles, all while keeping a close eye on the unpredictable movement of the hazards inside.
The tension comes from the strict rules governing each slice. You only have a limited number of cuts per stage, forcing you to plan your moves carefully. Taking too long lets the balls spread out and ruin your opportunity, but rushing a slice when a ball is about to bounce against your line will cost you a life. It's a true test of timing and spatial awareness.
Controls
- Slice: Click and hold the left mouse button to draw a line across the shape.
- Confirm Cut: Release the mouse button to execute the slice. The section that does not contain any bouncing balls will fall away.
Tips
- Isolate the hazards: Try making small, tight cuts that corral the bouncing balls into one corner. Once they are confined, you can easily hack away the rest of the empty space.
- Start from outside: You do not have to start clicking inside the shape. Begin your slice in the empty space around the geometry to line up your path before dragging it through.
- Study the physics: Watch the trajectory of the balls for a few seconds before cutting. They follow consistent bounce angles and will often group together naturally.
This physics puzzle is fully playable in the browser without installing anything, making it an excellent choice for a quick mental workout.
