Family Sort is a color-sorting puzzle: each level hands you a set of bottles filled with layered, mismatched liquid, and your only job is to pour them back and forth until every bottle holds a single color. Tip one bottle onto another and its top color slides across, but only if the receiving bottle is empty or already topped with a matching color — plan the order wrong and you can lock yourself into a bottle no color will fit.
There's no clock and no fail state pushing you along, so a level can be a thirty-second breather or a ten-minute puzzle depending on how tangled the colors are. Levels start simple with just a few bottles and colors, then slowly add more of both until you're juggling several near-full bottles at once, tracking which pour actually helps versus which one just moves the mess around.
Controls
Click or tap a bottle to pick it up, then click or tap the bottle you want to pour it into.
Tips
- Always look for an empty bottle first — it's your safety valve for isolating a color you can't place yet.
- Pour the smallest matching layer you can, rather than dumping a whole bottle, to keep more bottles usable.
- If a bottle already has one color on top, use it as a landing spot instead of starting a new bottle.
It plays well in short bursts on a phone between things, or as a longer, no-pressure sit-down puzzle on desktop — either way it runs straight in the browser with nothing to install.
