Exhibit of Sorrows is a short, unsettling point-and-click horror game set inside a circus-themed museum exhibit that is never quite what it first appears to be. You wander from display to display, examining strange dolls and props, and every interaction that looks harmless has a way of turning sinister a moment later.
The core loop is built around four disturbing exhibits, each centered on its own doll — Mr. Floaty, Mr. Washy, Ms. Stretch and Mr. Handy. Solving one means noticing small details that change between passes and figuring out what the exhibit actually wants from you, then collecting the key it drops so you can move deeper into the museum. A full run takes somewhere between five and fifteen minutes, and the tension comes from atmosphere and implication rather than jump scares.
Controls
Mouse only — left-click to interact with exhibits and collect keys.
Tips
- Watch each exhibit closely before acting; the "correct" interaction is usually the one that looks least obvious at first glance.
- If an exhibit doesn't respond the way you expect, look for what changed since your last visit rather than repeating the same click.
- Whatever you do, don't upset the clown.
It's a quick, atmosphere-first game best suited to a short session with the lights down — not a long-form horror game, just one disquieting museum visit.
