Ducklings.io drops you into a pond as a mother duck with one job: find the ducklings that got separated from their families and herd them home. Every duckling you scoop up falls into a swimming line behind you, and the bigger that line gets, the more you have to protect it from the boats and rival ducks that are only too happy to steal your catch.
The pond is shared with players doing the same thing, so it's as much about racing to the scattered ducklings first as it is about not losing the ones you already have. A stray hit from a motorboat or a bump from another duck scatters your whole line, so a good run is a mix of quick collecting and knowing when to peel off toward your nest instead of pushing for one more duckling.
Controls
Move the mouse to steer your duck around the pond — there's nothing else to press.
Tips
- Drop your ducklings at the nest before chasing a big, distant group — losing a full line to a boat costs more time than a short detour home.
- Boats travel in straight, readable lines. Cut across open water rather than staying in their lane.
- Sticking close to the pond edges keeps you out of the main boat traffic while you scout for stragglers.
It plays in short bursts — a few minutes to fill a line and cash it in — so it suits quick sessions as easily as longer ones spent working through the game's levels. It runs straight in the browser, nothing to install.
