Dreadhead Parkour drops you into a relentless sprint across rooftop construction sites, neon-lit cityscapes, and trap-filled warehouses. In this high-speed 2D platformer, hesitation is fatal. You play as an agile, dreadlocked free-runner who must hurdle gaps, slide under spinning saw blades, and weave through laser grids without losing speed.
The entire game revolves around maintaining momentum. A perfectly timed wall-jump or a well-executed mid-air backflip not only looks stylish but keeps your speed multiplier high. Hitting a box or misjudging a landing instantly kills your flow, forcing you to quickly recover before you get caught by the next hazard. Every level is a continuous chain of split-second decisions.
Controls
- A / D or Left / Right Arrows: Run
- W or Up Arrow: Jump
- S or Down Arrow: Slide
- Spacebar: Perform tricks while airborne
Tips
- Flip for speed: While tricks look cool, their real purpose is mechanical. Landing a flip boosts your speed, which is crucial for clearing the widest gaps.
- Slide early: When approaching a low ceiling or laser, press the slide button a moment before you think you need to. Your character's hitbox shifts faster than the animation suggests.
- Don't over-steer in the air: Once you commit to a jump, try not to abruptly reverse direction unless dodging a specific trap, as it kills your forward momentum completely.
With short, respawn-heavy levels, this is a great game for quick sessions where you just want to chase a faster time and execute the perfect run.
