Craftomation 101 drops you onto a frozen alien world with a single goal: thaw the planet and bring it back to life. You achieve this not through manual labor, but by assembling and programming a team of small robotic helpers called Craftomatons. Using a visual, block-based language, you piece together commands that tell your bots how to harvest resources, craft new tools, and feed the central fire.

A typical session starts slowly as you manually gather ice and wood, but quickly transitions into a satisfying optimization puzzle. You'll set up automated supply chains, instructing one robot to fetch materials while another handles the crafting and delivery. Watching your code execute as the bots scurry around the map, slowly melting the snow and revealing green grass, is the core loop that drives the game forward.

Tips

• Divide and conquer: Instead of writing one massive, complex program for a single bot, assign smaller, specific tasks to multiple bots. One chops wood, the ferries it to the fire.
• Keep bots fueled: Craftomatons run on energy. Always ensure you have a dedicated bot whose only job is to deliver fuel (like coal or wood) to working bots.
• Use conditional logic early: Conditional blocks prevent your bots from getting stuck. For instance, tell them to stop harvesting wood if the storage is full.
