About Catch The Candy

Catch the Candy is a physics grappling game built around one purple, legless blob named Fluffy. With no way to walk or jump, Fluffy gets around by firing a sticky rope from its mouth, latching onto walls and ceilings, and swinging through each level toward a red lollipop. It's a remaster of an older Flash game, and the rope-swing feel is the whole draw: momentum carries over between swings, so a level often comes down to chaining two or three good releases in a row instead of one lucky grab.

There's no timer and no fail state beyond hitting a hazard, so the pace is entirely up to you. Early levels are mostly about learning how far a swing carries Fluffy; later ones add spikes, moving platforms, and tighter gaps where the lollipop is barely reachable without a clean chain of swings.

Controls

Everything is mouse-only on desktop: hold the left mouse button down to shoot Fluffy's rope and attach to a surface, then release to let go and swing. There's no keyboard input and no touch version — this is a desktop game.

Tips

  • Aim for the edge of a surface rather than its center — releasing from an angled attachment point carries more speed into the next swing.
  • Each level has a star rating, so if a level lets you down, replaying it after finishing the campaign is a quick way to pick up the ones you rushed past.
  • Let go earlier than feels natural. Most missed jumps in the later levels come from over-holding the rope past the peak of the swing.

77 levels in total, built by Yohoho Games — enough to fill a lunch break or to come back to level by level.
