Cannon Basketball is a physics aiming puzzle: a fixed cannon sits at one side of the screen, and your job is to drop a basketball through a hoop somewhere across the level using nothing but the arc of the shot. There's no running, dribbling or defense here — the whole game is judging an angle and a force.
Aiming and power come from the same motion. Each level resets you to the same spot with the same cannon, so a miss is useful information: you see exactly how the ball fell short or sailed past, and the next attempt is a correction rather than a fresh guess. Levels get trickier as ledges, gaps and awkward hoop placement force more precise shots.
Controls
Move the mouse to aim the cannon, then click to fire. The farther your click is from the cannon, the more power the shot gets, so aiming and strength are set with a single motion rather than separate keys. On a touch screen, tap to aim and tap the fire button to shoot.
Tips
- Small mouse movements near the cannon change the arc a lot — nudge your aim rather than making large sweeps between attempts.
- Use each miss as feedback: a shot that lands just short needs slightly more power, not a completely different angle.
It's a good fit for short sessions — quick to pick up, and each level is a self-contained puzzle rather than part of a longer run.
