Bubbles Game

Bubbles is a classic match-and-pop puzzle game: a cluster of colored bubbles fills the top of the screen, and your job is to clear the whole board before it creeps down too far. Aim your own bubble into the pack, and any time three or more of the same color touch, they pop and drop everything hanging beneath them.

The skill comes from angles as much as color-matching. You can't always fire straight at your target color, so bank your shot off the side walls to sneak it into gaps a direct line could never reach. Bigger groups mean bigger chain reactions, and clearing several colors in one shot is where the real points come from.

Controls

Aim with the mouse and click the left button to shoot. That's the whole input — the challenge is entirely in reading the board and picking your bank shots.

Tips

• Bounce shots off the walls rather than forcing a straight shot into a tight cluster — it opens up matches that look impossible at first glance.
• Popping a group near the bottom of a hanging cluster brings down everything stacked above it, so hunt for those support shots instead of picking off loose bubbles one at a time.
• Watch the color of your next bubble in the queue and plan two shots ahead rather than reacting one at a time.

It's a pick-up-and-play session game, good for a quick break rather than a long sitting, and it runs straight in the browser with nothing to install.
