Blumgi Ball is an arcade basketball game from Blumgi, the French studio also behind Blumgi Rocket and Blumgi Splash. Instead of a straight free-throw simulator, each level drops the hoop into a little obstacle course — ramps, gaps, moving pieces and the odd quirky character standing between your ball and the net. Landing the shot is a mix of aiming and timing rather than pure accuracy.
The twist that separates it from one-button dunk games is the teleport: instead of walking or running back to a missed ball, you can snap straight to it and keep the flow of a level going. That keeps runs fast even when a shot bounces off in a strange direction, which happens a lot once the levels start stacking obstacles around the rim.
Controls
Click and hold with the mouse, drag to aim, then release to shoot. Press Spacebar to teleport instantly to the ball.
Tips
- Drag distance sets your power as well as your angle, so a short drag for a close hoop is often more reliable than a full pull.
- Use the Spacebar teleport the moment a shot goes wide — chasing the ball manually costs more time than the teleport ever does.
- Watch how obstacles move before you shoot; a lot of levels are built around timing your release to a gap rather than beating the obstacle with power.
