Bloons Tower Defense 1 Game

Bloons Tower Defense 1 is the game that started the Bloons TD series, a browser tower defense built in Flash by Ninja Kiwi. A single line of colored balloons, called bloons, marches along one fixed path toward your base, and your only job is to stop every one of them from reaching the end.

You do that by placing monkey towers along the track. Each pop earns a little cash, which you spend on more towers or on upgrades for the ones you already own. As the rounds climb, the bloons get faster and tougher to pop, so the spending decisions you make early echo for the rest of the run.

Controls

Bloons Tower Defense 1 is played entirely with the mouse. Click an open spot on the track to bring up the tower shop, click a tower to buy and place it, then click a tower you've already placed to see its upgrade paths or sell it back for part of its cost.

Tips

• Place your first towers where the path bends or loops back on itself — one tower there can hit the same stretch of track twice.
• Put money into upgrading a tower you already own before buying a second cheap one; a fully upgraded early tower usually out-pops two unglamorous ones.
• Keep an area-damage tower in reserve for rounds where bloons bunch up close together.
• Don't let cash sit idle between rounds — unspent money is range or damage you're not using yet.

It suits anyone who likes tower defense but wants a short, self-contained session rather than a sprawling tech tree — you can play the whole game in one sitting and still see everything it has to offer.
