Arcane Archer is a fantasy survival game from OnRush Studio where you steer a lone archer through procedurally generated runs, dodging monster attacks and hazards while your bow fires on its own. There's no shoot button — the whole game is about where you stand, not when you swing, so surviving a run comes down to reading incoming volleys and threading the gaps between them.
Between levels you pick up magical upgrades that change how your arrows behave: ice arrows that slow enemies down, floating shields that soak up a hit before your health does, and boosts that stretch your health pool further. Each level is freshly generated, so the layout of monsters and hazards is never quite the same run to run.
Controls
Move with WASD or the arrow keys — that's the entire input. Aiming and firing happen automatically.
Tips
- Move in small steps rather than long straight lines; most hits come from standing still a beat too long, not from bad positioning at range.
- Prioritize ice-arrow upgrades early — slowing enemies down buys you room to reposition.
- Grab floating shields even when they don't look exciting; they absorb a hit before your health takes the damage.
Since there's nothing to aim or time yourself, it's an easy game to pick up on a phone or tablet for a few short runs, and it plays just as well at a desktop with a keyboard.
