About 11-11

11-11 is a block-placement puzzle played on an 11×11 grid, in the same family as Blockudoku and Woodoku. Each turn hands you three shapes drawn from the usual Tetris-like set of tetrominoes and polyominoes, and you drag them onto the board one at a time. Fill an entire row or column and it clears, opening space back up; leave the board too cluttered and eventually none of your three shapes will fit anywhere, which ends the run.

There's no timer and no combat, just the steady tension of a shrinking board. Early placements barely matter, but as the grid fills in, every shape becomes a small logic puzzle: which line clears first, and does clearing it leave you room for the piece you'll draw next?

Controls

Click a shape to select it, then drag it onto the board and release to place it. On phone and tablet, the same works as a tap-and-drag.

Tips

  • Keep at least one full row and one full column open as often as you can — a board that's clear in two directions gives you options no matter which shapes you draw next.
  • Don't rush to place a shape just because it fits somewhere. Placing it in the spot that clears a line beats placing it in the spot that merely empties your hand.
  • Watch the edges and corners. Odd-shaped pieces (L-shapes, T-shapes) get harder to place once the outer rows fill in, so keep them clear longer than the center.

It plays in the browser with nothing to install, and suits short sessions as well as longer ones since there's no level structure to interrupt.

11-11 FAQ

How do I play 11-11?
Drag one of your three available shapes onto the 11x11 grid and release to place it. Filling a full row or column clears it and frees up space.
What happens when the board fills up?
If none of your three current shapes can fit anywhere on the board, the run ends. Clearing rows and columns is the only way to keep going.
Can I play 11-11 on my phone?
Yes, the same drag-and-drop controls work with touch on phone and tablet, no separate app needed.
Is there a time limit?
No, 11-11 has no timer or countdown. It's a pure spatial-planning puzzle you can play at your own pace.
