Early sessions are almost all clicking, since a single cookie mascot is your only income source. Controls

Mouse only. Click the cookie to earn coins, and click the upgrade panel to buy boosters, using the x1/x10/x100 buttons to buy in bulk once you can afford it.

• Don't commit to one upgrade path early: a mix of click boosters and passive producers keeps income growing whether or not you're actively clicking.
• Buy in bulk once you can: switching to the x10 or x100 purchase buttons is faster than repeatedly clicking a single upgrade.
• Grab golden cookies as soon as you see them: they're temporary and worth breaking your rhythm for.
• Keep clicking steadily rather than in bursts: the streak bar rewards sustained clicking with a temporary boost to your per-click earnings.
