Woody Sort is a color-sorting puzzle: each level hands you a row of tubes filled with mismatched colored balls, and the only rule is that you can't stack a ball on a different color. Tap a tube to lift its top ball, tap another to drop it there, and keep rearranging until every tube holds one color from top to bottom.
There's no timer and nothing chasing you — the pressure is entirely self-imposed, coming from how few empty tubes you have to work with. Early levels are a few tubes and two or three colors; later ones pack in enough colors that a wrong move early on can lock you out of a clean solve, so you end up thinking two or three swaps ahead before committing. The wood-grain tube art gives it a calmer, more tactile feel than most puzzle games in this genre.
Controls
Mouse or tap only: click a tube to pick up its top ball, click the tube you want to pour it into.
Tips
- Use an empty tube as temporary storage rather than dumping it into the first free spot — save it for the color you're actively trying to finish.
- Look for a color that's almost complete and clear a path to it first; finishing tubes frees up space for the harder colors underneath.
- If a level gets tangled, the undo button costs nothing but a moment — better than plowing ahead on a move you're not sure about.
It's built for short bursts — a level or two on a break — and suits anyone who wants a puzzle that rewards patience over speed.
