Tail Swing is a physics platformer built around a single move: grab an anchor point with your tail and swing. There's no running or jumping in the usual sense — momentum is everything, and each level is really a chain of swings you have to time and aim through gaps, spikes and obstacles to reach the end.
The feel is closer to a grappling-hook game than a typical runner: you let go at the top of an arc to fly, then catch the next anchor before gravity pulls you into a spike or a gap. Levels are short, so a miss just means swinging back into the same attempt rather than losing much progress. Along the way there are coins to grab, which unlock new animal characters to swing as.
Controls
Click or press Spacebar to grab and swing. Release the same button to let go and fly.
Tips
- Release near the top of the swing's arc, not the bottom — that's where you get the most height and distance out of the momentum.
- Watch the next anchor before you let go, not the one you're currently swinging from; the timing window is on the next grab, not this one.
- Chase coins only when the route to them doesn't add an extra risky swing — a clean run to the end is worth more than a detour into a spike.
It's made by A Small Game, an indie studio out of Stockholm also known for the Hanger series. Good pick for short, replayable sessions rather than one long sitting — it runs right in the browser, nothing to install.
