Stacktris takes the falling-block idea from Tetris and turns it into a balancing act. Instead of clearing rows, you're stacking spinning tetromino pieces one on top of another on a narrow platform, trying to build the tallest tower you can before something tips over the edge.
Every piece spins in place above the stack, and the spin gets faster the higher you climb. Timing when to stop it, nudging it into position, and letting it drop cleanly onto the tower below is the entire game — one careless drop and an overhanging block can send the whole thing toppling.
Controls
Desktop: click and hold to stop a piece's spin, then use A/D or the arrow keys to slide it left or right, and release the click to drop it. Enter pauses the game.
Mobile/tablet: press and hold to stop the spin, drag left or right to line it up, and lift your finger to drop.
Tips
- Stop the spin as soon as a flat side is facing down — dropping mid-rotation is the fastest way to lose balance.
- Center each piece over the stack rather than the platform edge; small overhangs compound as the tower grows.
- Coins earned from height can be spent on upgrades like Slow Spin, High Friction, and a Next Block preview, all of which make later drops easier to judge.
It plays fastest in short bursts — a few climbs to see how high you can get before the tower goes over.
