About Sides of Gravity

Sides of Gravity is a puzzle platformer with one twist: there's no fixed "down." Walk off the edge of a platform and gravity flips to pull you toward whatever surface you just stepped off of, turning a wall into the new floor and the old floor into a wall. Every level is really four rooms folded into one, and reading which side you'll land on next is most of the challenge.

The 24 levels build on that single mechanic step by step, mixing in spikes and tight gaps that only work if you flip gravity at exactly the right edge. There's no combat and no timer pushing you along, so a level session is really a string of short puzzles: look at the room, work out which walls you need as floors, then walk off the right edge in the right order.

Controls

  • A/D or Left/Right arrow keys — move
  • W, Up arrow, or Spacebar — jump

Tips

  • Gravity only flips when you walk off an edge, not just by jumping — plan the edge you leave from, not just the one you're aiming for.
  • Stuck on a layout? A hint system is built into the game for exactly that.
  • Look at spikes as fixed reference points: they don't move when gravity flips, so use them to judge which wall is about to become the floor.

Runs fine on desktop, phone or tablet, and each level is short enough to fit into a quick break.
