About Nightpoint.io

Nightpoint.io drops you into a city overrun by zombies, armed with nothing but a pistol and a mouse cursor. It's a top-down multiplayer shooter played entirely in the browser: gun down the undead and rival players for experience, then spend it on stronger weapons and better stats as the match goes on.

Two modes give that loop a different shape. Free-for-all is pure survival — stay alive, rack up kills, climb the leaderboard, and see how long you last before something finally gets you. Teams turns it into an objective fight: raid the enemy base for their flag and run it home while defending your own. Deaths don't cost you much — you're back in with a fresh pistol seconds later.

Controls

  • WASD or arrow keys — move
  • Mouse — aim
  • Left click — shoot
  • Spacebar — dash (a short speed burst, with a cooldown before you can use it again)

Tips

  • Hold the trigger down too long and your shots spread wider — fire in short bursts instead of spraying.
  • Save your dash for closing distance on a kill or escaping a fight you're losing, not just for moving faster.
  • Pick up healthpacks when you find them; passive regen alone won't out-heal a real firefight.
  • Early experience is well spent on Speed or Accuracy upgrades — they win you the gunfights that earn more experience.

It's built for quick sessions — a few minutes of zombie-and-player chaos solo in FFA, or longer objective runs with friends in Teams.

Nightpoint.io FAQ

How do you play Nightpoint.io?
Move with WASD or arrow keys, aim with the mouse, left-click to shoot, and tap Spacebar to dash out of danger.
What's the difference between FFA and Teams?
FFA is solo survival — stay alive and rack up kills against everyone else. Teams splits players into two sides that raid each other's base to capture and return the enemy flag.
Do I have to buy weapons?
No. You start with a pistol and unlock stronger weapons like a shotgun, machine gun, and flamethrower by earning experience from kills, along with stat upgrades like speed, accuracy, and health regen.
What happens when I die?
You respawn with a fresh pistol seconds later, so a single death never ends your session.
