Monster Tracks is a fast-paced physics driving game where your only goal is to navigate a bouncy, overpowered monster truck across a series of increasingly absurd terrain. It sounds simple, but the combination of a high center of gravity and massive, springy tires means every hill, bridge, and drop-off is a delicate balancing act to keep your vehicle from flipping over.
Unlike traditional racing games, speed is not always the answer here. The tracks are constructed with steep ramps, shaky wooden bridges, and sudden chasms. Earning a clear run means learning how to feather the accelerator to creep over ledges, and throwing your truck's weight backward or forward while airborne to ensure you land squarely on your massive wheels.
Controls
- W or Up Arrow: Accelerate
- S or Down Arrow: Brake and reverse
- A and D or Left/Right Arrows: Tilt your truck backward or forward mid-air
Tips
- Don't hold the gas down: Your truck has an immense amount of torque. Holding accelerate over a crest will almost certainly flip you backward. Use short taps instead.
- Level your landings: Before hitting the ground after a jump, use the tilt controls to align your wheels with the slope of the terrain. Landing flat prevents bouncing out of control.
- Take it slow over bridges: Suspended log bridges flex under your weight. Barreling onto them at top speed will cause them to snap violently, launching you in unpredictable directions.
