About Merge Arena

Merge Arena is a 3D tower defense game built around one simple move: drag two matching units together and they combine into something stronger. You are holding a small fortress against waves of monsters, and the only way to keep up is to keep merging your army into fewer, tougher units.

Each fight starts with the yellow button at the bottom of the screen. Before you hit it, spend a moment expanding your available units and slots with the two buttons in the bottom-right corner — a bigger board means more room to merge upward into mages, archers and knights. Wins earn gold and experience, your treasury keeps trickling in cash between fights, and you spend it all back into growing your army for the next, harder wave.

Controls

Drag and drop identical units onto each to merge them into a stronger one. Use the two buttons in the bottom-right to expand your unit slots, and tap the yellow button to start the next fight.

Tips

  • Expand your slots before you push into a harder fight — a full board limits how far you can merge upward mid-battle.
  • Let gold from your treasury build up between fights rather than spending the moment you get it, so you can afford a full round of upgrades at once.
  • Keep a couple of low-tier units unmerged early on; you need pairs to merge, and running out of matching units stalls your progress.

Merge Arena also lets you spend keys earned in battle on multiplayer matches against real players, so there's a competitive side once your fortress is holding steady. It suits players who like idle-style army building in short, replayable sessions rather than a long story campaign.
