About Mechabots

Mechabots is a robot-building sim: pick a T-Rex-shaped frame, then work through a construction kit piece by piece, fitting armor plates, picking a paint scheme, and bolting on weapons until your mechabot is complete. There's no combat here, no timer racing you along — the point is the build itself.

Each session plays out as a sequence of small assembly steps rather than one big open workshop. You click through the parts on offer, place them where they belong, and the game scores how precisely you put the robot together, so a careful build earns a better result than a rushed one.

Controls

Mouse only on desktop: click to pick up a part or tool, then click again (or drag) to place it. On phone or tablet, tap and drag the same way.

Tips

  • Slow down on each step — the score rewards accuracy over speed.
  • Look at where a piece is meant to sit before dropping it; misplaced armor is easy to overlook until the final robot looks off.
  • Try a full build with one paint scheme first, then replay to see how a different color and weapon combo changes the finished look.

Good pick for a relaxed, low-pressure session — closer to a creative building toy than a fast-paced action game.

Mechabots FAQ

How do you play Mechabots?
Click or tap the parts and tools offered at each assembly step to build your T-Rex-shaped mechabot: armor, paint, then weapons. Precision matters more than speed.
What are the controls?
Mouse only on desktop (click and drag to place parts); tap and drag on phone or tablet. There's no keyboard control.
Is there combat or a story mode?
