Happy Room is a darkly comedic physics-based sandbox where you are tasked with testing a vast arsenal of lethal weapons on resilient ragdoll clones. Set in an underground laboratory, your goal is to inflict maximum damage by strategically placing traps, explosives, and projectiles to create devastating chain reactions. The game thrives on experimentation, allowing you to string together combinations that keep the clone bouncing between hazards for as long as possible.
Each round starts with a setup phase where you arrange your chosen tools within a fixed budget. Once you hit start, the weapons trigger and physics take over. Completing specific damage milestones and combo challenges earns you money, which is then spent unlocking deadlier equipment like black holes, automated turrets, and laser grids. The pace is rapid and iterative, encouraging you to constantly tweak weapon angles and placements to squeeze out a slightly higher score.
Controls
- Mouse: Drag and drop weapons from the inventory into the testing room.
- Left Click: Select a placed weapon to adjust its angle or modify its settings.
- Spacebar / Play Button: Start the simulation and release the clone.
Tips
- Chain reactions are key: Use springboards and mines to keep the clone airborne, feeding them into wall-mounted saw blades or turrets to rack up continuous damage.
- Focus on challenges: Prioritize the specific tasks listed on the left side of the screen. Completing these is much faster for earning money than just raw damage.
- Mind the budget: You have a limited capacity for weapons in each run. Sometimes upgrading a single well-placed trap is more effective than cluttering the room with cheap ones.
