Ghost Walker puts you in the boots of a lone ninja working through a chain of bandit hideouts, cutting down each leader in slow-motion melee duels. Every fight plays out the same tense way: enemies close in, time drags to a crawl, and you have a split second to line up a strike or a dodge before things speed back up.
The hook is the aiming system. Instead of walking with a stick or WASD, you hold the mouse button down to pull back and aim, then let go to spring in that direction — closing distance on a boss, hopping over an attack, or repositioning mid-fight. Chain that with melee combat against waves of bandits, and a run becomes a string of short, deliberate movements rather than constant motion.
Controls
- Hold and drag the left mouse button to aim
- Release the mouse button to jump/strike in that direction
Tips
- Use the slow-motion window to plan your jump before committing — a rushed drag usually lands you short or in an enemy's swing.
- Bosses hit harder than regular bandits, so bank a full mouse-drag pull for maximum reach when one appears.
- Unlockable assassin skins are cosmetic — pick whichever you like without worrying it changes how the aim-and-jump control feels.
It suits short, focused sessions: a few boss encounters at a time rather than a long continuous run, since the whole game is built around getting one drag-and-release timing right after another.
