Fortride: Open World is a 3D driving simulator and sandbox stunt game that offers players a massive open arena to explore. In this creative playground, you can select from a garage of eleven distinct vehicles—including agile racing cars, heavy-duty monster trucks, and even armored tanks—and drive them across a landscape filled with loops, ramps, and hidden portal teleporters. Free from racing competitors or countdown timers, you can explore the map at your own pace and perform stunts without limits.
The core of the experience lies in its unique building mechanic, which allows you to modify the environment in real time. By switching to construction mode, you can select, rotate, and place custom road segments, steep ramps, and sharp curves anywhere on the map. This building system lets you bridge gap divides, construct complex tracks, and design your own custom stunt parks to test the physics of each vehicle.
Controls
- Drive and Steer: Use the W, A, S, D keys or the Arrow keys.
- Nitro Boost: Press the Spacebar while driving to activate nitro for a massive speed boost.
- Build Mode: Press Q to open or close the construction menu.
- Select Structure: Use W, A, S, D or the Arrow keys to cycle through ramp and road options in build mode.
- Place Structure: Press the Spacebar while in build mode to construct the selected piece.
- Switch Vehicle: Press Ctrl to cycle through the garage of available cars and trucks.
- Reset Car: Press R to respawn your vehicle if it gets stuck or flips upside down.
Stunt Driving Tips
- Time Your Nitro: Save your nitro boost until you are just about to reach the lip of a ramp to maximize your height and distance in the air.
- Vary Your Garage: Different vehicles handle stunts differently. Sports cars are great for speed and loop-the-loops, whereas heavy tanks and monster trucks excel at climbing steep, self-built ramps.
- Build Mid-Air Bridges: If you are struggling to cross a massive canyon, switch to build mode to place horizontal road segments ahead of you, creating a custom bridge.
