Final Ninja Zero sends you in as Takeshi, forty years before the events of the original Final Ninja, on a stealth run through a high-tech facility. It's an action-platformer built around sneaking rather than fighting head-on: stay out of guards' sightlines, use the rope hook to swing across gaps and past cameras, and only throw a shuriken when hiding stops being an option.
Twenty-four levels take you deeper into hostile territory, each one leaning harder on timing your movement around patrol routes than on raw platforming skill. Get spotted and a quiet infiltration turns into a scramble fast.
Controls
- Move: A/D or the Left/Right arrow keys
- Jump: W or Up arrow
- Stealth: S or Down arrow
- Hook: hold the left mouse button (or hold your finger on touchscreens)
Tips
- Use stealth before a guard notices you, not after — it's built for staying hidden, not for escaping once you're already seen.
- The rope hook covers ground fast; look for it as a way to skip past a guard's sightline entirely, not just to cross gaps.
It's a prequel built with fans of the original Final Ninja in mind, though nothing about it requires having played that game first.
