EvoWars.io drops you into an open arena as a small, weak fighter and asks one question: can you outlast everyone else long enough to grow into something terrifying? You gain experience by grabbing scattered orbs and by cutting down players, and every level up swaps your character for a bigger, stronger form with a longer weapon and a wider reach.
The catch is that growth costs you speed — the larger and later your evolution, the slower you move, so the caveman you start as is actually the quickest thing in the arena. That trade-off is the whole game: early on you dodge and pick fights carefully, and once you're big you have to out-position slower, heavier rivals instead of simply outrunning trouble.
Controls
- Move the mouse — your fighter automatically follows the cursor
- Left-click to swing your weapon
- Right-click or hold Shift to sprint
- Spacebar to send an emote
Tips
- Sprinting burns your banked XP, not stamina, so don't use it just to cross the map — save it for closing a gap on a fleeing target or bailing out of a fight you're about to lose.
- The center of the arena draws the most traffic and the most high-level players. Early on, work the edges to farm orbs safely before you're strong enough to fight for the middle.
- A bigger opponent hits harder but recovers slower after each swing. Step out of range when they commit to an attack, then dart in for a hit while their weapon is still resetting.
