About Duel of Chance

Duel of Chance strips fighting down to one decision at a time: aim, then commit. Two ragdoll fighters face off with a randomly assigned weapon each round, and a single clean hit is usually enough to end it.

Because the weapon is random and the ragdoll physics wobble unpredictably, matches come down to reading your opponent rather than memorizing combos — you're watching for their wind-up and trying to release your own strike a beat before theirs lands.

Controls

Click and hold the mouse to aim, then release to strike. That's the entire input — there's no separate movement key, so everything you do happens through how and when you swing.

Tips

  • Watch your opponent's aim rather than the clock — a rushed swing is easier to punish than a patient one.
  • Vary how long you hold before releasing; a predictable rhythm gets read and countered.
  • Each random weapon has different reach and swing behavior, so don't fight every round the same way.

Play solo against the CPU, or switch to local two-player for head-to-head matches on the same computer — it suits quick, one-round-at-a-time sessions more than long play stretches.
